Chocolate / Sweet Tubs recycling
Dont't forget to bring you chocolate tubs into school to recycle
Tub2Pub is back for 2026!
Make sure your tubs don’t go to waste! Bring your clean, empty plastic confectionery and biscuit tubs to participating Greene King pubs between 1 January and 15 February 2026 to be recycled.
Many kerbside recycling collections will not accept these polypropylene tubs, so Tub2Pub is a recycling solution that stops them ending up in landfill.
In 2025, we collected over 240,000 tubs, weighing in at a record-breaking 27,990 kg of plastic - more than all previous years combined.
Since Tub2Pub launched, we’ve helped to divert over 470,000 tubs from landfill and, with the proceeds from recycling the tubs going to our national charity partner, Macmillan Cancer Support, we’ve have raised over £34,000 to help fund vital support for people living with cancer.

Starting Strong
Please call the school office to secure a place on this FREE course.
The counselling and Family centre are going to be running a ‘Starting Strong’ programme for our families.
This is a fully funded 6 week course for parents and carers of children aged 5-16 attending Trafford schools, who are presenting with special educational needs.
The course will be held at Blusci Community Centre (Broomwood Community Centre) and will run from 9.30-11.30 on the following dates:13/3, 20/3, 27/3 |(term break)| 24/4, 1/5, 8/5.
We feel that this is a great opportunity for parents who come into school and want extra support for their child or who are worried about their child and how to support them in the best way.
Please call the school office to secure a place on this FREE course.
