Party Time!
As Broomwood Primary School is turning 70 this year we have a few exciting events to let you know about.
On Wednesday 3rd July we will be holding a Decades Disco after school. We are inviting children to put on their best party outfits and return to school to dance along to some of the best songs from the past 7 decades. An entrance ticket can be purchased from ParentPay for £2. As well as the music there will also be hotdogs, crisps and drinks available to buy on the night however these will only be able to be purchased with cash.
Reception and Key Stage 1 disco will run from 5.00-6.00pm
Key Stage 2 will run from 6.30-7.30pm
On Thursday 4th July we will be holding a 70th Birthday Tea Party for the over 60s within our community. There will be tea, cake and music provided by children from our school. If you are interested in attending this afternoon event please contact the school office or speak to Mrs Taylor/Payne.
Finally, to round the week of festivities off we will be holding a celebration day on Friday 5th July. Each child will be invited to dress up in clothing from the decade their class will represent. During the morning, they will learn all about the food, music, fashion and key events that happened during this time.
