We are thrilled to invite you to our Family Picnic on the School Field, taking place on Wednesday 16th July from 4:00–6:00pm. This promises to be a fun-filled and memorable evening for our school community – a perfect way to celebrate the end of the school year together!
Bring along your picnic baskets and blankets and settle in for an evening of live music, laughter, and family fun. There will be stalls and games to enjoy, hot dogs, drinks, and ice creams available for purchase, and even the chance to take part in the ever-popular (and slightly mischievous!) Splat the Teacher – if they’re brave enough to volunteer!

Tickets: £3 per family, available to purchase via ParentPay (Max 2x adults/carers and 3 Broomwood Primary school siblings)

This event is exclusively for Broomwood Primary School families – only children who attend our school may take part, (no older siblings)

Y5 singing at the Garrick Theatre
We would like to inform you that your child will take part in a singing performance at the Garrick Theatre in Altrincham on Wednesday 9th July. We would love it if you could come and watch your child perform. The children will leave school at 9:10am and they will return to school for lunchtime.
The concert begins at 10:30am and we would love for you to come and watch. Tickets can be purchased online, at the box office counter and over the telephone. This trip has been fully funded by school, so there will be no cost for the child to attend.

Uniform prices and dates for ordering
As per our text message, from 23rd June there will be a price increase with our uniform items. Our suppliers have increased their costs so unfortunately we have had too.

Uniform order by Friday 11th July will be ready to collect from the school office till 23rd July.

Please note that school dinners, breakfast club and afterschool club will also be increased from September, further details will follow.

Summer school raffle
Staff in the school have donated some gorgeous things to create a Summer Hamper. If you would like to take part in the raffle, we would ask that you pay on parent pay by Monday 21st July 2025. It is £1 a ticket. The raffle with be drawn on Tuesday 22nd July 2025. All money raised goes into our school fund for the children. Thank you for your support

End of year dates for Year 6
On Tuesday 22nd July, we are performing our show-stopping performance of the Wizard of Oz. Nearer the time, tickets will be available to collect from the office: a maximum of two tickets are available per family and you can decide to get either one ticket for each of the two shows or two tickets for just one of the shows.
Afternoon showing: arrive from 1.30pm for a 1.45pm start
Evening showing: the children should arrive at 5.30pm and parents should arrive for a 6pm start.
On Thursday 24th July, each of the year 6 classes will have their assembly where they will share their memories and enjoy some refreshments with you.

The ball, which is taking place on Thursday 24th July, is a night where the children will be able to celebrate being together as a year group for one last time. Children should arrive in party wear with their dancing feet at the ready! Doors will open at 5.30pm – please come in through the gate on the playground where the children usually arrive in the morning.

Linnet Clough Residential Meeting
Wednesday 9th July we will be holding a meeting about the year 6 residential to Linnet Clough at 3.30pm.
At the meeting we will provide you with all of the information you need and any forms that need to be completed before the visit. We will share the itinerary and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.

Start date letters and show around dates have been sent out to all new starters in Pre-school/Nursery and Reception. Please check your emails.
If you require a Pre-school (2 years olds) or Nursery (3-4year olds) place for September 2025 or know of anyone who does, please complete an application form which are available from the school office or on our website (link below). You will also find lots more information on Pre-school and Nursery on our website.
