Pumpkin Fest

We are extremely excited to tell you about a ghoulishly great event that will be taking place at our school for Halloween this year. On Wednesday 23rd October, Broomwood Primary School will be holding its annual Pumpkin Fest- a fun filled evening for all the family! Between the ghostly hours of 4.30pm and 6.00pm children can return to school with their family to take part in:

- A pumpkin hunt around our very own pumpkin patch

- A fancy dress competition with prizes for the best children and adults

- Halloween games with lots of prizes to be won

- Frightfully fantastic face painting

- Party dancing to some of your favourite spooky songs

- A range of food and drinks

Tickets for this event will be priced at £5.00 per child with free entry for all accompanying adults. Within this ticket price children will: pick their own pumpkins from the patch to take home and carve; receive a free glass of Halloween punch and collect a trickie-bickie treat.

Tickets for this event will be on sale through ParentPay and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Once paid for they can be collected from the school office from Friday 18th October.

We looooooooooohk forwards to seeing you all there!

Kind regards,

Mr Bridge and Mrs Payne

Stay and Play Reception

Come and join Reception on Tuesday 22nd October from 9-9.45am for a stay and play session.

The children in Y1-Y6 will be going to the theatre in December.

Y1-Y2 will be going to see The Bear at Sale Waterside on 17th December

Y3-Y6 will be going to see Sleeping Beauty at Stockport Plaza on 13th December.

We are looking for adult helpers for these trips, so will be adding adult places to parent pay for both these trips at £16 a ticket on a first come basis. There will be a limited number of places which will go live on parent pay on 1st October and will close on 15th October.

We will send a text out on 1st October when it will be available to book on parent pay. Please do not text or email that you require a place as places need to be booked on parent pay.

Please note that this is not a compulsory trip for children, however, if you do not want your child to go they will still need to attend school. Please let the school office know as soon as possible if your child will not be attending this trip so we can make arrangements for them in school.

The trips for the children are now available to pay on parent pay.

Thank you for your support.
