Starting Strong

Please call the school office to secure a place on this FREE course.

We feel that this is a great opportunity for parents who come into school and want extra support for their child or who are worried about their child and how to support them in the best way.

The counselling and Family centre are going to be running a ‘Starting Strong’ programme for our families.

This is a fully funded 6 week course for parents and carers of children aged 5-16 attending Trafford schools, who are presenting with special educational needs.

The course will be held at Blusci Community Centre (Broomwood Community Centre) and will run from 9.30-11.30 on the following dates:13/3, 20/3, 27/3 |(term break)| 24/4, 1/5, 8/5.

Please call the school office to secure a place on this FREE course.

We are pleased to announce that we are bringing back our Valentine Disco.

The disco will take place on Thursday 12th February 2026 and will be split into two times:

Year 3,4,5,6  (5.45pm - 6.45pm)

Tickets are £2.00 per child. Payment for the disco must be made on parent pay.

Please ensure that you have set up your parent pay account to allow you to make payment.

There is no limit on tickets for this event, but only children from Broomwood Primary School can attend the event.

There will be hotdogs, drinks, snacks  and various other bits to buy so please remember to bring change as we are limited on what change we have.

 ' Our Learning, Our Words'.

'This week's pupil voice comes from.......

This week in year 1.2, we have enjoyed learning about African animals in geography. We have enjoyed learning about Mary Annining in history and looking at dinosaur fossils. We have loved the story Grandpa's Gift and writing about it. We love PE on Friday and this week we have been learning to dribble a ball. Making kindness posters was fun too!

Hot chocolate and a biscuit for £1 will be sold in the playground on Monday
