Poppy Appeal for The Royal British Legion
We will be selling poppies and poppy merchandise for the Royal British Legion from Monday 3rd November for rememberance day on Tuesday 11th November.
All donations welcome.
Please bring change as it is a donation and we cannot give change.

Reminder to please pay any outstanding monies owed on parent pay. As a school we cannot afford to cover money that is not paid for Breakfast Club / School Dinners/ Nursery and Pre-school fees / Pantomimes, etc. Thank you.
Wrap around care:
At Broomwood we offer wrap around care for parents/carers each day during term-time.
Breakfast Club £2 (no pre booking required)
Afterschool Club until 4.15pm - £4.50 (must pre book)
Afterschool Club until 5.30pm - £8.00 (must pre book)
Breakfast Club runs from 7.45am - till school starts (no admissions after 8.15am)
Afterschool Club which runs up to 5.30pm each day. Must be booked a week in advance

Harvest Festival
A massive thank you for all your generous donations for our Harvest assembly.
All donations have been gratefully received by Barnabus (Homeless Charity) who will benefit from them.

Pumpkin Fest
Tickets are available to collect from the school on Monday
Taking place on Wednesday 22nd October, Broomwood Primary School will be holding its annual Pumpkin Fest- a fun filled evening for all the family! Between the ghostly hours of 4.00pm and 5.30pm children can return to school with their family.
Tickets are £5.00 per child with free entry for all accompanying adults.
Tickets for this event will be on sale through ParentPay and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Flu Vaccine Mop up Session
The mop up session Flu vaccine will take place on Monday 20th October for students who have given permission via the consent form.

School Trip
Year 1 and Year 2 will be visiting the Museum of Liverpool on Wednesday 5th November 2025 to take part in the "Toys Then and Now" workshop.
This exciting opportunity will allow the children to consolidate their learning by exploring how toys have changed over time.
The cost of the trip is £13.50, which includes transport and workshop fees.
Please make payment by Monday 3rd November 2025 via parent pay.

Nursery and Pre-school places for Janaury 2026
If you require a Pre-school (2 years olds) or Nursery (3-4year olds) place from January 2026 or know of anyone who does, please complete an application form which are available from the school office or on our website.

Aladdin Panto at Stockport Plaza

Aladdin Panto 2025 - Stockport Plaza at 9.30am on 17th December. Payment needs to be made by Friday 14th November. Children who do not want to attend will do fun activity's in school, but they must attend school if they do not attend the panto. Adult places for the Panto will be released on 28th November.

Father Christmas at the Waterside 2025 on 16th December for Reception-Year 2. Leaving school at 1pm. Payment needs to be made by Friday 14th November. Children who do not want to attend will do fun activity's in school, but they must attend school if they do not attend the panto. Adult place for the Panto will be released on 28th November.

Info on Father Christmas show: Children will delight in Briggs’ grumpy but loveable Father Christmas as he gets ready for his busiest day of the year: Christmas Eve. Watch as he prepares his Christmas deliveries, feeds his reindeer and finally takes flight into the snowy night. But things don’t run smoothly and he soon encounters soot-covered chimneys to squeeze through and treacherous weather conditions, all while plenty of mischief is had by his cheeky pets, Cat and Dog. With plenty of live music, songs and playful puppetry, this critically acclaimed adaptation of Raymond Briggs’ much loved book is a delightful festive treat for children and families to enjoy.
Funded by J. Davidson Scrap Metal Processors, Altrincham Football club are delighted to provide this FREE holiday club for children eligible for free school meals.
The club will take place at Broomwood Primary School
The days will provide exciting sporting activities such as cricket, tennis, football, dodgeball and much more along with arts and crafts.
The children will also receive a nutritious lunch each day.
