Our school is taking part in Walk to School Week (18-22 May). The nationwide event is organised by walking charity Living Streets and designed to help pupils experience first-hand the importance of walking to school. Children will be well on their way to reaching their recommended minimum 60 minutes of physical activity per day before even reaching the school gates! Not only will it set them up for a positive day in the classroom, but it will also help create healthy habits for life.
Families are encouraged to walk, wheel, cycle, scoot or ‘Park and Stride’ for the whole week to see the big differences that come from small steps, from healthier and happier children to fewer cars outside the school gates.

Y5 PM: Monday 18th May Outdoor forest school day.
Please wear your own clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, as we will be planting and digging.
Every school holidays Trafford FIS create a dedicated What's On page on our Trafford Directory which lists events happening locally over this period, free activities, holiday clubs, days out, SEND whats on, practical and crisis support, mental health and wellbeing support. During holidays where HAF activities run (such as the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays) these can also be located here.
We currently have our May Holiday page live on the directory and wondered if you could possibly share this with your families?
This page is constantly updated over the period with new activities as we find them therefore it is worth parents keep checking the page over the next few weeks.
